Minor Completed Projects
In addition to larger habitat and access improvements made across the state to wildlife management areas, hatcheries or AGFC-owned land, short-term initiatives also continue to support outdoor recreation and access in communities statewide.

Galla Creek WMA Water Control Structure Updates:
- On October 23, 2025 the water control structure was completed!
- On September 11, 2025 work began on the water control structure.
- On August 27, 2025 the project was approved and funded by the Commission.
- On July 24, 2025 a bid was officially opened for the repair or replacement of the current aging water control structure at Galla Creek WMA. View a photo of the old structure below:

Mike Knoedl Tri-County Lake Gate Repair Updates:
- On April 20, 2026 the repairs were officially completed!
- On March 27, 2026 the new additional date had been installed, with movement planned for the coffer box.
- On March 11, 2026 the new gate had been received and a new gate under construction.
- On February 11, 2026 all parts were collected with work beginning on the structure.
- On August 25, 2025 the new gate was fabricated with the steel flat stock ordered.
- On August 13, 2025 work began in repairing 2 existing gates and guide frames on all gates of the water control structure on Mike Knoedl Tri-County Lake. The damaged gate was pulled with a coffer box set in place. The gate stem had sustained damage and needed to be replaced as well. View the structure below:

Mayflower Training Center- Dining Hall Update
- On February 26, 2026 the project was officially completed!
- On December 19, 2025 the demolition was completed, with build back at about 25% completed.
- On November 20, 2025 the kitchen and dining hall remodel/upgrade for the Mayflower Training Center was mobilized and demolition began.
