LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas hunters and anglers now have the option of carrying proof of their hunting and fishing license purchase on a special weather-resistant card, offered through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s licensing system. The new plastic card license is available at licensing.agfc.com and is reusable each year.
Hunters and anglers may still carry proof of their licenses on their mobile devices as well as on paper; the new card is simply an option for those who wish to have a more weather-resistant license. The card may be purchased at any license dealer or online at licensing.agfc.com for $6 and the QR code will contain the hunter’s or angler’s licensing information. When licenses are renewed, the data tied to the QR code on the card will automatically update to show new purchases. The card will be printed and mailed upon purchase and should arrive within two weeks from the date of sale.
Four image options are available to hunters and anglers to reflect their passion. Deer and duck images are available under the hunting license section of the site, while an underwater image of a bass and a scenic shot of a lake can be purchased under the fishing license section of the site. All hunting and fishing license privileges will be available through the card’s code, no matter which image is chosen. License holders may purchase extra versions of the card if they wish, but they all will be tied to the same license holder information and will not be duplicate licenses.
Visit licensing.agfc.com to order your reusable license card today.
