WMA Deer Bag Limit: Four deer, no more than two bucks, which may include:
- Two bucks with archery,
- Four does with archery,
- One buck and one doe with alternative firearms,
- One buck and one doe with modern gun.
- During special youth hunt, youths may take four deer, two bucks (no antler restrictions) or two does.

Waterfowl Notes:
- Travel by boat from Nov. 15-Feb. 8 is limited to Cut-Off Creek.
- No airboats during duck season.
- Closed to all access (except in designated campsites, parking areas and boat launch ramps) from 2-4 a.m. Nov. 22-Jan. 31 and Feb. 7-8 (boats may only
be launched in boat-staging areas after 2 a.m. and must remain occupied between 2-4 a.m.).
2026 Turkey
Youth Hunt (permit required): April 11-12. One legal turkey.
Archery: April 16-17, April 21-24 and April 28-May 3 (closed during firearms permit required). One legal turkey.
Firearms Hunt (permit required): April 13-15, April 18-20 and April 25-27. One legal turkey.

Area Notes
- A free annual General Use Permit (WMP) is required to hunt or trap on WMAs. Permits are available online by clicking “Buy Licenses” at agfc.com or by calling 833-345-0325 or any regional office.
- Check antler restrictions for important additional information.
- The Pigeon Creek Waterfowl Rest Area closes to access and hunting from Nov. 1-Feb. 15 and will reopen Feb. 16.

- It is unlawful to possess any shot other than federally approved non-toxic shot while hunting migratory birds, including dove, with shotguns.
