Program championship to the traditionally strong trap-shooting club in the northeast part of the state with a convincing win in last Saturday’s title match, outshooting rival and top-seed Harrisburg Team 2 by 10 clays at the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation’s Jacksonville Shooting Sports Complex.

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission unanimously approved an update to the agency’s official Chronic Wasting Disease Management and Response Plan at today’s meeting. The meeting was condensed to a single day and conducted via teleconferencing software because of impassable roads throughout much of the state. SPRINGDALE – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission unveiled its fifth and largest nature center to date in the heart of Northwest Arkansas in front of a small in-person gathering and for countless others attending via Facebook. The J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center stands as the crown jewel in the AGFC’s network of education facilities throughout the state, and will begin to welcome guests into its exhibit area beginning tomorrow morning by scheduled appointment.

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Game and Fish Commissioners watched a special video at their regularly scheduled meeting today from Gov. Asa Hutchinson, recognizing Sept. 26 as National Hunting and Fishing Day in Arkansas and proclaiming the week leading up to it as Arkansas Hunting and Fishing Week.
