Join the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission May 16 as it helps celebrate the camaraderie of the outdoors at Unity Fest 2026, hosted by John 3:16 Ministries in Charlotte, Arkansas, near Batesville.
Gates open to the free event at 11:30 a.m. Families will be greeted with a carnival, petting zoo and many other activities.
This year’s Unity Fest features guest speaker Willie Robertson, one of the stars of “Duck Dynasty,” as well as professional catfish angler Larry Muse and the Texas Snakeman, Jackie Bibby. All will be available to talk about the healing power of the outdoors and finding oneself in God’s creation.
The AGFC will host an inflatable BB gun shooting station and an archery challenge for the youth in attendance. Families will also be treated to a fishing pond, petting zoo, carnival rides and bounce houses for the kids, and live music will be played throughout the day, all for free.
The activities and fellowship are free, and attendees are encouraged to join in for the wild game supper later in the evening. Commercially sourced exotic meats like kangaroo, ostrich and elk are just a few of the foods that will be available, along with a healthy sideboard of fixin’s, all for $20 a plate. Each purchased meal doubles as an entry to win a brand-new Spartan zero-turn mower.
Even if you can’t make it to the event, you can still contribute by participating in online auctions, available at the ministry’s website, john316thecure.com.
“This event is going to be quite the experience,” AGFC Director Doug Schoenrock said. “I can’t wait to try some of the exotic game myself. I hope everyone takes time to come and support this ministry dedicated to helping men and women change their lives.”
