Lake Catherine is a 785-hectare impoundment of the Ouachita River located in Garland and Hot Spring Counties. Constructed in 1924 for hydroelectric power generation, the lake offers various recreational activities like fishing, swimming, skiing, and boating. With a relatively shallow depth, 56 miles of shoreline, and diverse fish stocking, Lake Catherine is a popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
