The Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center in Jonesboro invites you to their 2019 National Hunting and Fishing Day Activities!  Join us for the 2019 National Hunting and Fishing Day activities starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 28.

9:30-11 a.m. On Target: Archery – Learn the basics of shooting a compound bow! Recommended for ages 6 and older. All equipment will be provided. Registration is not required. Come give it a try!

10 a.m. Creature Feature – Get a close look at one of the nature center’s critters and discover fun facts about it, too.

1-3:30 p.m. Self-Guided Craft Activity – Enjoy a self-guided craft in the Discovery Room.

1:30-3 p.m. On Target: BB Guns – Join nature center staff and learn how to test your aim with a BB gun. Practice target shooting or shoot for the first time. Recommended for ages 6 and older. All equipment will be provided. Registration is not required.

3:30 p.m. Feeding Frenzy – Join us and watch the excitement as our alligators feast on their favorite food.

There is no fee for this program thanks to your support of the 1/8 Cent Conservation Fund.
