Free Fishing Weekend | June 9-11 (Statewide)
June 9, 2023 at noon – June 11, 2023 at midnight
Free Fishing Days
Noon Friday | June 9 - Midnight Sunday | June 11
Residents and non-residents may fish anywhere in Arkansas noon Friday, June 9, until midnight Sunday night, June 11, without fishing licenses or trout permits. Regulations for Arkansas waters apply: daily limits, slot limits and length limits must be observed. An annual tradition sponsored by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and approved by the Governor of Arkansas, Free Fishing Weekend gives many people the opportunity to enjoy the amazing angling The Natural State has to offer.
In addition to the lifting of the license requirement, the AGFC has stocked nearly 50 Family and Community Fishing locations across the state.
Register for AGFC hatchery fishing derbies on Saturday, June 10 from 8 a.m. to noon for each location at the links below:
- Joe Hogan State Fish Hatchery (Lonoke) Fishing Derby
- Andrew Hulsey State Fish Hatchery (Hot Springs) Fishing Derby
