Win that perfect gift with the AGFF’s ’12 Guns of Christmas’ promotion
ON 12-04-2025
LITTLE ROCK — Maybe it began with Ralphie’s “Red Ryder BB Gun with the compass in the stock and that thing which tells time” in A Christmas Story, but just about every young hunter received their first firearm wrapped in Christmas paper. That Daisy is still a fine piece of wood and steel, but what about that recreational shooter or hunter who’s a bit more seasoned? The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation’s “12 Guns of Christmas” promotion is the perfect chance to get them a fantastic holiday gift and do it while contributing to conservation.
Beginning Dec. 8, the AGFF will draw for one of 12 firearms ranging from a Winchester semi-automatic duck gun to a Savage straight-walled rifle ideal for Arkansas’s Alternative Firearms Deer Season from a pool of only 1,000 possible entries.
“Each ticket costs only $35 and is entered in all 12 of the drawings, so you have a dozen shots at a price with the single purchase,” Tyler Lawrence, director of events and programming for the AGFF, said. “Plus, you’ll be added to the AGFF’s Gun Club membership, receiving a window decal and subscription to the AGFF’s newsletter.”
Lawrence says proceeds from this membership drive will go toward supporting the year-round work of the Foundation, which works closely with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to promote outdoor activities and support many AGFC programs such as Youth Shooting Sports, Archery in the Schools, Becoming an Outdoors-Woman and the many nature centers across the state.
“We’ve already sold quite a few tickets, and once they’re gone, that’s it,” Lawrence said. “We’ll start drawing Dec. 8, and we’ll post the winners on the AGFF Facebook page. We’ll also notify the winners via phone and email.”
All winners must pass a federal background check to claim their prize.
Visit www.agff.org/events to learn more and claim your ticket and membership to the Foundation. Or you can text “AGFF” to 243725 to enter.
