Registration for the hatchery fishing derbies will open on May 28, 2024.
Looking To Fish?
Residents and nonresidents may fish from Friday, June 7 at noon until midnight Sunday, June 9 without a fishing license or trout permit. Regulations for Arkansas waters apply; daily limits and slot and length limits must be observed.
Visit one of our hatcheries for the annual fishing derby for Free Fishing Weekend! These events are for families; all adults and children must register prior to the derby. Bring your fishing fear and bait along with chairs, water, sunscreen and snacks. There is a limit of three fish per person.
