Horseshoe Lake is a small reservoir with boating restricted to trolling motor only. The lake features standing timber and shallow pockets for fishing, along with various habitats such as rip-rap, lily pads, docks, and cypress trees. This old oxbow off the Mississippi River offers depths up to 30 feet, with the outside bend having a steep drop-off and the ends being fairly shallow.
