LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission offers hundreds of workshops and events throughout the year to help people get out and enjoy the outdoors to its fullest, and thanks to a newly redesigned calendar and event management system, finding one is as simple as scrolling through your phone or computer screen.

Second edition of Arkansas Turkey Stamp available

LITTLE ROCK — The second edition of the voluntary Arkansas Turkey Stamp is now available to order through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s online licensing system at www.agfc.com, at any license dealer, regional office or AGFC nature center. The stamp is not required to hunt turkeys in the state of Arkansas, but was created to give conservationists and turkey enthusiasts a way to help support conservation efforts for the species.

Former Arkansas Game and Fish Commissioners, staff to be inducted into Arkansas Waterfowler Hall of Fame

STUTTGART - Former AGFC Commissioner W.R. “Witt” Stephens Jr. and former AGFC Biologist and Assistant Director Carl Hunter will be added into the Arkansas Waterfowler Hall of Fame in an induction ceremony September 23 at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock. Members of the 2020 class also will be recognized as COVID-19 forced the cancellation of last year’s event.

’Bee’ a friend to Arkansas’s pollinators
