Gov. Hutchinson proclaims Sept. 26 National Hunting and Fishing Week in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Game and Fish Commissioners watched a special video at their regularly scheduled meeting today from Gov. Asa Hutchinson, recognizing Sept. 26 as National Hunting and Fishing Day in Arkansas and proclaiming the week leading up to it as Arkansas Hunting and Fishing Week.

Rob Finley appointed new Arkansas Game and Fish Commissioner

LITTLE ROCK — Governor Asa Hutchinson announced Friday the appointment of Rob Finley of Mountain Home to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Finley will fill the seat of Commissioner Ken Reeves of Harrison, who will end his term at the end of June.

For Ken Reeves, his year leading the commission was affected by a worldwide crisis that arrived this spring and affected every aspect of Arkansans’ lives, and saw the agency headquarters and other offices such as nature centers around the state temporarily shuttered.
