Commission passes new recreational and commercial fishing regulations in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission unanimously voted at today’s regularly scheduled meeting to approve new changes to Arkansas’s regulations on recreational fishing, commercial fishing and aquaculture.

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Department of Transportation’s project to widen Interstate 30 and replace the I-30 bridge through Little Rock and North Little Rock will require the temporary closure of the boat ramp to the Arkansas River in downtown North Little Rock.

Apply for an Arkansas private land dove hunt August 1-15

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will accept applications for its private land dove hunting program Aug. 1-15 for five private fields throughout the state. The following locations and dates are available for the 2020 hunt drawing:

AGFC sets Veteran/Active Duty Military Waterfowl Hunt, Arkansas waterfowl season dates clarified

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission unanimously approved the addition of the veteran’s/active duty military waterfowl hunt to Arkansas’s youth waterfowl hunt days during today’s regularly scheduled meeting. This is the second consecutive year the Commission has approved the option since it was made available by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
