ROGERS — Cory Gray, chief of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Research Division, will join the Arkansas Chapter of the Backcountry Hunters and Anglers for a special “pint night” presentation on chronic wasting disease at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, at the Ozark Beer Co.

Gray’s presentation and discussion will offer an update on the status of CWD in Arkansas, as well as the many research and monitoring projects the AGFC is involved with concerning the disease.

“We were excited that BHA reached out to us to participate,” Gray said. CWD Meeting(2)7212021.jpg
“It’s a great group of conservation-minded people who can help us spread knowledge throughout the hunting and fishing community about some of the work going on to help Arkansas’s natural resources. They are very active with cleanups and advocacy projects that any outdoors enthusiast can participate in.”

The Ozark Beer Co. is located at 109 N. Arkansas St. Ordering food or drinks is not required to participate in the presentation.
