Urban Archery Hunts

The AGFC works with cities experiencing issues with wildlife damage from deer to create special hunting seasons to reducing herd numbers. The Arkansas Bowhunters Association and Bull Shoals Bowhunters Association work with the AGFC to manage these hunting opportunities and ensure safe, ethical hunts with special consideration for non-hunting Arkansans.

All participants of urban bowhunts must successfully complete the International Bowhunter Education Program. Arkansas recognizes bowhunter education taken in other states to meet this requirment. Visit the Bowhunter Education page to learn more.
