The Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center in Little Rock invites you to come by and learn All About Hummingbirds .

Each year, the return of hummingbirds is eagerly awaited in Arkansas. Join Tana Beasley from the Potlatch Conservation Education Center at Cook's Lake to learn more about:

  • Attracting hummingbirds to your yard
  • The biology of hummingbirds (size, color, physical differences and behaviors)
  • What happens from egg to leaving nest
  • Catching, actual banding, how to hold a bird should you have to move one from inside your garage, sunroom, etc.

This program is recommended for adults and kids age 12 and up.

There is no fee for this program thanks to your support of the 1/8 Cent Conservation Sales Tax.
