Hunting

• Is there a minimum age to hunt?

  Hunters must be at least 6 years old to hunt the following big game animals:

  • Deer
  • Bear
  • Elk
  • Turkey

  Hunters must be at least 16 years old to apply for and hunt alligators.

  There is no minimum age for small game hunting, waterfowl hunting, or trapping.
