July 27, 2024

Join the Arkansas Game and Fish’s Fishing Education team at the Andy Simmons Outdoor Skills Farm for an action-filled day on the water! We will focus on all the best methods and tackle for catching slab sunfish and beefy bass. At the end of the fishing, we will also demonstrate how to clean your catch and last but not least cook up some tasty recipes to sample. We will provide all fishing rods, tackle, and bait. While we are cooking, these will only be sample portions and we ask that participants bring a sack lunch for the day. This camp is also subject to high temperatures and sun exposure so bringing sun protective clothing, sunscreen, and plenty of water is recommended. Capacity is limited and applicants will be notified through email if they are selected.
