Habits and Habitat:Crows have adapted well to many habitats, but are particularly fond of open areas with scattered trees.
Habit:Crows are one species of birds that exhibits "mobbing" behavior. If an owl or hawk are intruding on their territory, crows will gather to harass the bird as a team until it leaves.
Crows are migratory birds and are managed according to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service regulations. Crows are considered a nuisance by many landowners, and hunting seasons for them are some of the most liberal of all migratory bird seasons.
