Steve N. Wilson Raft Creek Bottoms WMA Reserved Permitted Waterfowl Hunts
Criteria for Application and Selection
Permits are available (provided water is available) for Steve N. Wilson Raft Creek Bottoms WMA. The permits are available four days a week 
during Waterfowl Season. There are separate permits for Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday hunts. A hunting party is not to exceed four (4) persons. Permits are allocated for one party per hole. Holes scheduled for draw are 1, 5, 7, 8, 10, and 18. The mobility impaired hole is hole 7.
The permits are selected by random draw. There are no preferences of any kind in the draw and no limit on number of times an individual may be selected during the waterfowl season.
Dates
The first hunts will be on November 17 and 18, 2007. The first day for applications for the November hunts will be November 1 and the November draw will take place after midnight November 13. The first day for applications for the December hunts will also be November 1 and drawing will take place after midnight November 27. The first day for applications for the January hunts will also be November 1 and drawing will take place after midnight on December 27. Drawing for the mobility-impaired blind, hole 7, will operate in the same manner, with the exception that the mobility-impaired hunter drawn to hunt, must bring proof of handicap (an AGFC mobility impaired permit) on the morning of his/her hunt.
Online Permits
Online Permit Recipients must check-in at the Raft Creek HQ/Shop the morning of the hunt and prior to the onsite draw to reserve their online permit hole. If the permitted hunter/party does not check in, the computer drawn hole number will be offered during the regular onsite draw.
Process
During the dates specified above, applications will be accepted and the selections made for the hunts occurring in the following month. Applications will be made on the AGFC Internet web page only. Those applicants who do not have Internet access can call the Brinkley Regional Office (877-734-4581) and make requests for application by telephone.
Application will be made by one person who if selected may take three additional persons to hunt.
After the monthly drawings take place, both selected and non-selected applicants will be notified by email the following day. The Regional Office managers will notify telephone applicants who are selected by return telephone call.
