Beaver Bounties

In 1993 the Arkansas Legislature approved Act 630 which authorizes payment of bounties for beavers taken in counties participating in an approved beaver control program.  Funding is provided by the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission (ANRC) to participating County Conservation Districts.  For more information about the program visit the ANRC Beaver Control Program web site.

To find out if your county is participating in the program and what you need to do in order to be able to collect bounty payments, contact your local Conservation District office.

While the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission does not administer this program, AGFC regulations regarding the methods of take, hunting and trapping seasons, and nuisance animal control regulations do apply.
