Statewide Sportfish Daily Limits

Check your destination on pages 54-75 of the 2009 Fishing Guidebook for area-specific regulations. 
For species where there is no limit, the aggregate bag limit does not apply.
For bowfishing, gigging and bullfrogs, daily limits are measured from noon to noon during their respective seasons. See pages 10-11 of the 2009 Fishing Guidebook for seasons and dates.

Alligator gar (This is different for bowfishing and gigging) 2
Black bass (largemouth, spotted, smallmouth combined) 10
   There are no statewide length limits for largemouth or spotted bass.
Smallmouth bass (length limit in Ozark zone is 12 inches long; otherwise, length limit is 10 inches long.)  See smallmouth map. 4
Rock bass (Ozark and Shadow bass) 10
Bream (bluegill, redear, longear, warmouth and other sunfishes combined) 50
   No daily limit on bream shorter than four inches.
Catfish (channel, blue, flathead combined) 10
   No daily limit on bullhead catfish.
Crappie (black, white combined, refer to zone map)     Refer to zone map
Refer to the crappie map for the daily limits for crappie, black and white combined. Between the main levees of the Mississippi River and on Horseshoe Lake (Crittenden County), the daily crappie limit is 50.

Daily Limit − The total limit of a specific fish species that may be taken in one day.

Possession Limit − The total limit of a specific fish species that is in your possession at any time, whether on your person or stored in another location.
