Northwest Central Arkansas
1 - Environmental Education Pond
This pond is in Pinnacle Mountain State Park. From Arkansas Hwy. 300, turn east on Pinnacle Valley Rd. The pond is on the north side of the road about half a mile from the highway.
2 - Lake Maumelle
The best access to Lake Maumelle is at Jolly Roger’s Marina about midway up the lake on Arkansas Hwy. 10.
3 - Maumelle Park
From I-430 take the Cantrell Rd. Exit (Exit 9) and go west 2.7 miles. Turn right on Pinnacle Valley Rd. The entrance is in a 90-degree turn and is clearly marked on the right.
4 - Palarm Creek Use Area
From North Little Rock take I-40 to Mayflower. Turn left and go over the overpass. Turn left on Arkansas Hwy. 365 and travel about 4 miles until you see the Palarm Use Area on both sides of the highway.
5 - Pinnacle Mountain State Park (Little Maumelle Access)
Take I-430 to Cantrell Rd. west 2.7 miles and turn right on Pinnacle Valley Rd. and continue to Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Turn right and follow the signs to the access and fishing area.
6 - Two Rivers Park (Arkansas River Access)
From I-430 take Cantrell Rd. (Exit 9) west 2.7 miles and turn north on Pinnacle Valley Rd. Go straight where Pinnacle Valley makes a sharp, 90-degree turn north and travel 1.5 miles to the entrance.
