The AGFC Dive Team is a critical branch of the AGFC Enforcement Division. They help enforce boating and fishing laws on Arkansas's many waterways and play a vital role in search-and-rescue operations and evidence recovery.
The dive team is made up of officers throughout the state who have volunteered for the extra assignment. They must take specialized classes in scuba diving that involve working in water with near-zero visibility. They work hand-in-hand with many search-and-rescue units throughout the state and are often called in to recover evidence that criminals throw into the water and think is gone.
