Education and Classes
Scuba diving, hunter education, bowhunting, fishing, boating education and camping are a few of the topics for which the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission holds classes. Need to take a Hunter Education course before the upcoming season or Boating Education before heading to the lake? Here's where you can find all class times as well as information about our education centers. Funded by the 1/8th cent Conservation Sales Tax, each of our education centers offers an experience unique to its region.
Women interested in the outdoors can find instruction on a variety of pursuits from outdoor photography to kayaking to shotgunning through our Becoming an Outdoors-Woman workshops. We have geocaching, bird watching, aquatic resources education, watchable wildlife opportunities and many other educational programs available for the general public as well as teachers and educators. Teachers find these classes an excellent resource for gathering lesson plans and preparing field trips to the outdoors.
