Office Hours

Office Hours In general, the office is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Holidays are an exception. It is a very good idea to call ahead unless you are planning a self-guided visit of the area. The property is gated and there is no vehicle access when the office is closed. Visitors may access walking trails from the parking lot daily from sunrise to sunset. Trail Brochure and Map

Location

Fred Berry Conservation Education Center on Crooked Creek lies in the Ozarks of northern Arkansas in rural Marion County, located at 851 Conservation Lane just outside Yellville. Traveling west from Yellville on U.S. Hwy. 62/412, turn left onto Marion County Road 4002, across from the sheriff's office. Travel one mile to Kelley's Access on Crooked Creek and continue on Conservation Lane to the education building. Parking is available on both sides of the creek. Be aware high water conditions render the crossing impassable at times. Please be safe. Do not cross during high water.
