Location: The WMA is in Searcy County, 10 miles northeast of Marshall.

Ownership: It is owned by the AGFC.
Age: Maps of the area dated back to May, 1967. I t is just now being developed.
Purpose: Area will be managed for deer and turkey.
Description: Area is moderately to steeply sloped with hardwood and pine. Area is near Buffalo River. Area has 5 parts in all,
totaling 2,720 acres.
Access: First road north 1.5 miles east of Morning Star.
Hunting
Opportunities:
Turkey, deer, squirrel and furbearers.
Management
Practices:
Area just now being developed. Plans for food plots.
Camping:

There are no designated campsites on this WMA.  Camping is allowed in the parking areas.  Due to the areas being small in size, there is no vehicle or ATV travel on the interior roads.
