Late migratory bird seasons set by Commission
For more than a decade, waterfowl hunters have enjoyed 60 days to pursue their passion. This year will be no different. Waterfowl season was set by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission at last week’s monthly meeting at the agency’s headquarters in Little Rock.

Special Canada goose hunting season opens Sept. 1
Arkansas waterfowlers have a chance to get into action even before the mid-September teal season. It is a statewide Canada goose hunting season that begins Wednesday, Sept. 1.

Boat builder Kim Ward selected for Outdoor Hall of Fame
Kim Ward got into the transportation manufacturing business through family connections and traditions.
The sizeable Ward family that developed in the Conway area took transportation to new levels with school buses and boats.

Catfish derby planned at DeGray State Park
