Governor Beebe appoints Reeves to commission
LITTLE ROCK – Governor Mike Beebe has named Ken Reeves of Harrison as the newest commissioner of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Striped bass program offers big fish and big fun to Arkansas anglers
HOT SPRINGS – Arkansas anglers looking for a deep-sea fishing thrill don’t need to travel far to tangle with a trophy. Thanks to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s striped bass program, stripers regularly topping 20 pounds swim in many Arkansas lakes to test angler’s equipment and raise their heart rate.

AGFC stocks more than 2 million fish during June
LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Game and Fish Commission crews stocked more than 2 million fish in Arkansas lakes and rivers during June, according to Mark Oliver, chief of the Fisheries Division. The total stocking of fish weighed more than 150,000 pounds.

Association to sponsor Lake Conway fishing program
LITTLE ROCK- The Lake Conway Home Owners Association is sponsoring a fishing program called “Fish Successfully on Lake Conway,” that will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18 at the Faulkner County Natural Resources Center.
