Fishing Tip of the Week: When launching a boat in freezing weather, beextra careful about icy ramps. Take your time, and be sure to line up the boatstraight before going down the ramp. Also, once you pull out of the water, stopright at the water’s edge for a minute and allow as much water as possible todrip from the trailer before heading back up; that will prevent ice fromforming up and down the ramp.
