AGFC looking for feedback on Alabama rig
LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is gathering feedback about the use of the Alabama Rig in Arkansas. The AGFC has been conducting angler surveys on 16 lakes and 4 pools of the Arkansas River since May 2012.

LITTLE ROCK – Yards and roadsides all over Arkansas are littered with trees and branches broken by the heavy snow of Christmas night.

Lake Chicot Management Plan revision in place
LAKE VILLAGE – The Lake Chicot Management Plan has been revised with just a single change. The public overwhelming approved moving the lake drawdown to a period after July 4.

AGFC stocks more than 165,900 fish in Arkansas during December
LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Game and Fish Commission crews stocked over 165,900 fish in Arkansas lakes and rivers during December, according to Mark Oliver, chief of the Fisheries Division. The total stocking of fish weighed more than 50,200 pounds.
