Fishing Tip of the Week: Most people know that a fishing license is required to fish in Arkansas and other states. But don’t forget that trout permits are required of anglers 16 and older who fish in these areas: White River, from Beaver Dam to Houseman Access and from Bull Shoals Dam to Arkansas Highway 58 bridge at Guion; Little Red River, from Greers Ferry Dam to Arkansas Highway 305 bridge; North Fork of White River below Norfork Dam; Spavinaw Creek east of Arkansas Highway 59, and Little Missouri River, from 100 yards below Lake Greeson to Muddy Fork Road.
