Fishing Highlight of the Week:  This happened to a friend of mine. We were canoeing in a narrow stream and went under some overhanging limbs. We ducked and slipped through, but I heard him cursing a blue streak. A limb had caught his favorite fly rod and snapped it. Always have rod tips pointed toward the back of the boat so they can’t get hung on brush (watch out for lures at the end of your line, too). It might save a rod or an injury.
