Over 1,900 kids compete in state archery tournament
HOT SPRINGS – Over 1,900 of Arkansas’s best young archers were on hand to compete in the Arkansas National Archery in the Schools Program state tournament March 23-24.

Conservation leader Ducks Unlimited is 75 years old
LITTLE ROCK – Seventy-five years is a long time, except when you get on the uphill side of it. Seventy-five years is a milestone, and Ducks Unlimited is celebrating that event this year.

Nuisance bat workshop to be held April 24
LITTLE ROCK – There will be a free nuisance bat control workshop provided by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission next month. The seminar will be held Tuesday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The workshop will be held at the AGFC Central Office in Little Rock at 2 Natural Resources Drive.

Fishing tournament benefits Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry
ARKADELPHIA – The annual Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry team fishing tournament will be held April 21 at DeGray Lake near Arkadelphia. All of the proceeds from the tournament will go to the organization that helps to feed those less fortunate in Arkansas.
