Duck numbers up, but distribution remains spotty
LITTLE ROCK – Results from the state’s second periodic aerial waterfowl survey show a significant increase in duck numbers since the first survey in November, with observers counting an estimated 2.4 million ducks in Arkansas’s portion of the Mississippi Alluvial Valley.
