Chastain, Knoedl promoted to AGFC deputy directors
LITTLE ROCK – Ricky Chastain and Mike Knoedl, with a total of 59 years with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission between them, have been promoted to deputy directors of the agency.

AGFC approves special fishing regulations for Lower White Oak Lake
LITTLE ROCK – In a short meeting of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, commissioners last week approved special fishing regulations for Lower White Oak Lake near Chidester. The new regulations were necessary as a result of a leak in the lake’s water control structure.

Application period for WMA turkey hunt ends Jan. 15 LITTLE ROCK –Arkansas turkey hunters may now apply for limited permits on several Arkansas Game and Fish Commission wildlife management areas for the 2012 turkey season.
