Dove season opens Sept. 3; don’t forget your HIP registration
LITTLE ROCK – If it’s Labor Day weekend, college football and dove hunting have begun in Arkansas. The Sept. 3 opening of dove season represents the traditional opening of fall hunting in Arkansas.

Public meeting scheduled to discuss recent changes in NE Arkansas WMA
CORNING – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will hold a public meeting on Sept. 6 to discuss the upcoming waterfowl season, Dave Donaldson Black River Wildlife Management Area seasonal flooding and recent changes in the practice of public maintenance. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Corning’s M.B. Ainley Community Center.

Updated Arkansas atlas now available from the AGFC
LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has teamed up with DeLorme, the nation’s foremost atlas company, to deliver the ultimate outdoors enthusiast’s reference.
