Fishing Highlight of the Week: During the heat of summer, most fish have gone deep. If you’re pulling fish from 20 feet of water and deeper, their swim bladder may inflate and cause them to flounder on the surface after release. There’s nothing wrong with keeping a few fish for the frying pan. As long as they are legal size for the lake you’re fishing, take a few of these deep fish home and enjoy a meal.
