The Potlatch Conservation Education Center at Cook's Lake in Casscoe invites teachers to bring their class out for an Early Arkansas Frontier School Day Event

Take a walk back in time as you visit an early Arkansas Frontier hunter, trader, and trapper encampment. Learn about the day-in-the-life of people living on the frontier. Tour the camps to learn about hunting, trapping, trading and selling of furs, and being the captain of a keelboat.

Additional Information
Teachers will need to call three weeks in advance to register for the event and to schedule their class for the day's activities.

Participants should bring a sack lunch and drinks.
