Description
The Potlatch Conservation Education Center at Cook's Lake in Casscoe invites you to come watch and participate in our Hummingbird Banding Program on the following Saturdays:

May 11, June 15, July 13, August 10 and August 17.

The program will include a new power point showing flowers that attract hummingbirds, banding techniques, egg to fledgling series, and wintering birds. Also a video covering some of the 300-plus hummingbirds found in South America. We'll capture a few hummingbirds and do some banding, then have volunteers (children and “birthday” folks come first) release the birds back into the “wilds” of Cook’s Lake.
